Aim

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This NEBOSH course is delivered in association with NEBOSH Accredited Course Provider International HSE Council.

The NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) in Occupational Safety and health is a globally recognized health and safety qualification to increase the knowledge and understanding of health and safety principles and practices for safety professionals; Managers, supervisors and employees.
The qualification focuses on international standards and management system, enabling a candidate to effectively discharge workplace health and safety responsibilities in any employment sector in all parts of the world. NEBOSH IGC is also suitable for those embarking on a career in health and safety, providing a sound basis for progression on to the NEBOSH International Diploma.

 

 

About the Course

The syllabus is divided into 3 units:

  1. Management of International Health and Safety.
  2. Control of International Workplace Hazards.
  3. International Health and safety Practical Application.

The first two units are divided into 16 elements which cover a range of workplace hazards and method of control.

Assessment

There are two written examination:

  • Paper 1 Management of Health & Safety.
  • Paper 2 Controlling Workplace Hazard plus a workplace based practical assignment.

 

Certification

On successful completion of the course you will receive a NEBOSH accredited certificate.
Successful candidates who pass NEBOSH Exam can apply to Technician Membership (Tech IOSH) of Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and Associate membership (AIIRSM) of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management.

 

Course Duration

10 days plus one day for exam and one day for practical assessment.
